 Cricketer Arafat Sunny sent to jail

A Dhaka court on Tuesday sent national cricketer Arafat Sunny to jail rejecting his bail pleas in a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jakir Hossain Tipu passed the order on Tuesday.

Investigation Officer (IO) of the case produced before the court after one day remand.

 Meanwhile, Arafat Sunny's lawyer M Juwel Ahmed filed a petition seeking bail but the court sent Arafat to jail rejecting the bail plea.
