The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested Brokerage Alliance Securities chairman Pankaj Kumar Roy from his house in the capital on charge of accumulating wealth worth Tk 8 crore illegally.
A team of the ACC cordoned off the Dhanmondi residence of Roy overnight and nabbed him around 10:00 am, confirmed commission's deputy director (PR) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
He told media that Roy was arrested in a case filed for amassing illegal wealth.
