Police conduct raids at 4 sporting clubs in Motijheel area of Dhaka

Police conducted drives at four sporting clubs in Motijheel area of Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.  The clubs are Mohammedan Sporting Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Dilkusha Sporting Club and Victoria Sporting Club.

Motijheel and Paltan police conducted the drive at Dilkusha and Arambagh Clubs and seized huge amount of gambling equipment. Additional Commissioner of Police (Motijheel zone) Shibli Noman led the drive. 

Police also recovered Tk 1 lakh and huge amount of wine and gambling equipment from Victoria Club. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Motijheel zone) Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter to MTnews24.com
