Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has warned that BNP will be given befitting reply if unleashes violence in the name of movement.
"I'm saying clearly, if they (BNP) try to fish in troubled water creating anarchy, they will be given a befitting reply," he said while inaugurating the national council of Bangladeshi Awami Matsyajibi League on Friday.
The council was held at Krishibid Institution auditorium at Khamarbari in city's Farmgate area.
Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said failing to wage any movement and rejecting by the country people, BNP became a party of lodging complaints.
"Finding no room for them in the country, the party is repeatedlly knocking the doors of foreigners for making complaints," he added.
He called upon the party leaders and activists to remain alert about any kind of conspiracy being cooked up for ousting the Sheikh Hasina-led government.
