Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stressed the need for giving the students a modern technology-based education to make them prepared to face the ever changing trends of the era.
“We want to give the students education in a modern way as part of our efforts to give them a modern technology-based education as they can move with the changing pace of the era,” she said.
The premier added that her government has been working for overall development of the education system to keep that in mind, reports BSS.
The prime minister said this while formally inaugurating the free textbook distribution programme and receiving the results of this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC), Ebtedayee, Junior School Certificate (JSC), Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) and equivalent examinations at her official Ganabhaban residence in Dhaka on Tuesday (Dec 31) morning.
Sheikh Hasina formally opened the free textbook distribution programme by handing over books of primary and secondary levels to students.
