Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has hinted that contagion of coronavirus or COVID-19 may take a serious turn in the month of April in the country.
The premier made the remark during a videoconference with officials of 15 districts under Chattogram and Sylhet divisions on the present coronavirus situation in the country on Tuesday (April 7).
Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Dr Ahmed Kaykaus conducted the conference.
Mentioning the countries worst hit by coronavirus, Sheikh Hasina said, "It can be predicted that infections of coronavirus or COVID-19 may take a serious turn in the month of April in the country. So, we have to remain more alert in preventing the spread of coronavirus."
“We are trying our best to tackle the situation. We may face a big problem in April as a result we all have to be careful”, she added.
